Eheim Aquastyle Tanks – All In One Nano Solution

We were right down the hall from Eheim at MACNA and had many chances to oggle these cute new tanks in the “Aquastyle” line.  They come in three sizes, 4, 6, and 9 gallons, and just about everything has been integrated in the Eheim style.  For example, the tanks come with a corner filter that does not detract from the overall style of the tank.  Also to note, the tanks are made of glass but have those sweet rounded corners that were previously only in the domain of acrylic.  Both the filter and light are integrated with the tank through a standardized mounting bracket and everything tucks away nicely with a light track.  The tanks are available now and can even be purchased with an optional stand with integrated shelf.  LINK

My buddy has had this set up now for a few months. The 9 gallon. Looks wise it’s really nice. Love the glass, and the filter position. Down side is the light color is terrible. It’s pure white and gives off a slight yellowish look. Corals are not too happy under the light. He ended up getting rid of the light completely and putting a mini coralife t5 fixture on it. He then replaced the filter with a hang on bio wheel. The stock filtration was really not enough. All and all the tank itself is real nice…but that was about it…
