Even Waves Are Going Actinic Now

The blue shift is all around us, from frag swaps, to the LFS, and now it has hit the coast of California.  This is the aptly named “Moonlight Beach” in Encinitas a couple of days ago.  There has been some red tide affecting the coast in several different area either causing fill kills, large invertebrate deaths, or in this case, the massive increase in the population of dynoflagellates which have the ravey effect of glowing blue when they are disturbed.  LINK
