Potassium & SPS

Anyone addind potassium to there SPS tank & if so what type and brand , also anyone using the test kit to check this.

Zeo-vit has a test kit. ESV, zeovit, tropic marin are K supplements that come to mind. I'm sure there are more.

KZ makes the test kit for zeovit. It's very hard to read. Salifert is supposedly working on one. The only straight K supplement is by KZ and it ain't cheap.
It looks like zeovit and ultralith deplete potassium, so if you're running one of those systems you're supposed to add it. You could also try Liquid K human supplements for a fraction of the price.

kris, I have the zeovit kit. I really don't like it, but for the price and availability, I'm good with it. Also, I have found it to be accurate.
IMHO, Salifert is just a little better than not testing at all.
Although I'm interested in the KZ kit, I'll go back to my previous statement on the zeovit kit... good enough and the price is fair.

To clarify it's the zeo K balance supplement that's expensive. Are you dosing any potassium now or just testing?
