jason is selling stuff on rc, and not pointing finger's one way or another, but we have seen enough time's people hear one side and jump on the wagon. dont know nor have i dealt with him. ups if a claim is filed the person sending the item gets the claim money back which doesnt make sense to me

Paypal disputes takes at least 30 days.

If Paypal rules in your favor they can only refund you what the seller has in his Paypal account. So a lot of victims are still VICTIMS because they might get a small portion or sometimes nothing at all.

Insurance can be purchased online as with your postage. What the seller is out is the shipping cost but he will have a real tracking number to give the victim. Insurance claim is another story.

She was not the only person who sent payment with no merchandise received.

Paypal may take some time, but at the same time they will freeze the seller's account until the matter is resolved, and they will have the ability to get the money in FULL from the cards associated with the seller's account once the matter is resolved.

And yes insurance can be purchased online, but will only come into affect once the package is scanned by USPS as having been received into their custody. As far as a tracking number you can get them from any delievery confirmation slip at any post office.. BUT, again, the tracking number will only be in the computer/trackable once USPS has scanned the package and recieved it into their custody. Hence the seller can't collect insurance like Janey is saying unless a package is shipped.

As far as Janey not being the only person not recieving a package, I have no clue about that, nor will I speculate as to my beliefs on here. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't all burn the witch until we see her cast some evil spells.

I had spoken to jason about setting time to pick up uv and he was never home, He txt me about dropping off the uv to my moms house and never showed up. I kept calling him and he those not answer ...

Anyone remember that guy on RC about 8 years ago? He robbed folks for well over $250,000. He was selling big ticket items for half price and never sending anything out.

Wow, I just read the threads on RC. I can't believe that paypal can't just hold the money or refund it.

That is not right. Why use paypal then, if there is no security? Might as well just use CC.

There was one time, I used Paypal to purchase some inverts from an online store. The items were not complete and smaller than advertised. I called the company and sent them email, but not answers. I immediately file a claim and escalated it.

The seller contacted me afterwards and said the funds were on hold and they can't resend the items until I lifted the dispute.

I told them the reason I escalated the dispute was because I didn't hear back from them.

They apologize and subsequently resolved the matter.

So I am curious if the funds were on hold once a dispute was opened with paypal, and paypal will refund the money after a period of time. I don't understand how paypal is not responsible.

Got this from paypal site. Definitely states that funds can be reversed and returned to sender. Unless he took the money out immediately, I guess.
