QT is the only way to be sure.

I have dipped every corals that has entered my tank in the past, and still I have been infected with redbugs (3 times), zoo eating nudies (1 time), and planaria (3 times). It was only after setting up a QT tank, and quarantining corals for 1-2 months before placing them in my main system have I been able to say pest free for two years.
