An update on my stand build. Used 8 stud grade 2x4's and 2 2x6 for the frame. I have some neat things planned out for the stand that will hopefully get done tomorrow

I think they measured wrong.

Think about where the stand is going. This is going to be a piece of furniture in the room similar to a TV stand. If your room is modern and you put a piece of furniture with tons of moulding it will not go with the room.
Those stands look great but they would not all look great in the same room.

I agree the stand has to match the room. Some stands are overkill and look tacky. But what is measured wrong?

Looks great I like the white finish. Looks good with the blues on.

Started the canopy as well today. Close to completion. I cant wait to get the tank wet!

Nice , when I do a modern stand, flat panel style, I also edge band the cut outs as well , so there's no end grain showing. I prefer the canopy that flips open in front like a clam shell , it gives more access than small doors , why is there a side hole? Is there no outlet in back of stand?
