Waterplant, here's the update:
I tried running the thing and no matter what, the wattage was through the roof and the air draw was horrible. I think it was a venturi issue. I could not get the pump to run under 280 watts and it wasn't even reading on the air flow meter.
I decided to inject air using an alti 40. By running the alti, I dropped the wattage of the sequence pump to 77 watts. The alti uses 40 watts. So I basically had a 12" tube solid white from bubbles (I did not measure the air flow... I'm an idiot) at only 117 watts. A similar size Deltec is 218 watts. I was very close to making foam with fresh water, if I had the diffuser in place, I believe I would have.
So there was the air injection issue, then there was also a sever design flaw in the base. I couldn't get the bottom flange to stop leaking. I fully understand why it leaks. It was just an oversight during the build. I should have expected this, but I got a little ahead of myself.
I have to rebuild the base and possibly modify the venturi. I have a much better idea on how to build one, but over all, it was quite efficient with the air pump.
I didn't mention the skimmer lately because I didn't take any pics. Right now, the body has been removed from the base and the base is being cannibalized to build my beckett skimmer. Due to the fact that i'm downsizing my system, the Sequence skimmer is on the back-burner until I'm done with my system.
