Up and running! I had a few setbacks - it's taken FOREVER!.

First, the overflows were so loud that my wife wouldn't let me run the pumps, 'cause you couldn't hear the TV over the noise. Then the sump developed a leak - I wasn't about to completely dismantle it - I may be sorry, but just emptied the sump side, removed the silicone from the side leaking and resealed. Transferred the rock from my old tank and just put in the few clean up critters I had in the old tank last night. QT tank is set up.

pics to follow as soon as the dust strorm settles from the southdown.

Do you have a durso or a stockman on the output? They help a LOT. Also I put a valve on the end of my sump return so I can slow it down a bit.
