Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to throw this idea out there, for those people who have the black metal stands for their set up's, it would be ALOT CHEAPER to build a skirt to fit around the metal stand then build a full new one & you wouldn't have to disturb the tank at ALL in the process . Just an idea for you

Guys you can talk about the idea of building a tank cover in the DIY section, just don't offer to sell them in it, that gets into vendoring, thanks.
They are a good idea and not hard to make for someone who does not want to tackle building a stand from scratch.

you can use magnets, or the whole thing can just be freestanding so it can be removed.
the benefit to magnets, easy to make panels, benefit for a solid freestanding piece, tighter joints, and you can have doors if you want.

ahhh ply wood stinks.its a little more money but if you want to skirt a metal stand they sell different sizes of oak or pine.then if u have a router you can make nice bevels.u dont have to worry about putting a trim on the plywood.
