Get the GE Silicone II Window And Door, not the Kitchen and Bathroom, has anti-mold chemicals in it. HD sells it for about $4-$5 a tube.

For the record. On the back of GE Silicone II it says "NOT for aquarium use"

On Type I it doesn't have that warning.

You should use Type I

Although if I used type II, and it wasn't the kichen/bath, I wouldn't rip my tank apart just to get rid of it.
