Where do you guys buy glass cut to size?

I need some glass for my sump partitions. I have plenty of 1/4" acrylic but after reading the posts on NOT using plastic /glass together... I need someplace I can get glass cut to size...

Anyone know aplace in Nassau County?

glass to acrylic is okay for a sump. Just use a little extra silicone. in the joints.

Most glass stores will cut the glass cheap, just ask to get the top edge sanded down.

Theres a glass shop thats cheap and will cut to size a block and half away from me. Just discovered a few days ago.

You can even bring in your sump and they will measure and cut for you.

Is that by Sheridan Lanes? They will meassure it for you? Will glass work better on a glass sump than acrylic? Right now I used acrylic with silicone in my sump but it didnt stay on that well...

it works period.

I would not use acrylic in a glass sump ever again.

The seams will fail in the long term, then you will have one big mess on your hands. do it right the first time

Try some Homedepot, some of them have glass dept, call ahead though.
