I had my makita die last week in the middle of a job.
I think I killed it myself, I was drilling an aluminum base plate near it and got some shavings in the motor, I thought I got them all out, guess not.

good thing I had a backup but it still sucked.

I think it's the brushes it's a bosch and local tool shop says he has the parts.
It's the one I use with my table.

I'm almost finished with the entertiament center for my big screen TV.
I promised Eileen I'd finish the other projects before I did the new tank.
this puts me back a few days now

that happened to my makita, I was running a panel bit at 10K rpm, and it started smoking, I took it out of it's mount and almost had to drop it.
