I could have lent you my PAR meter.
So far is the programming of the Profilux easy, medium or hard to do daily cycle and/or a full yearly cycle.
I am thinking of using the same controller.

Thank you Wingo I am still interested in doing more test. Ill send you a PM.
The Profilux is very easy Ill post some screen shots.

the light scenerio screen helps you set what percentage of light you want. for example you hit the manual overide and play with the light mixer to see the different affects of the light at different percentage.

This is a rough PAR data taken on spot 90reefer's place out of water.
Due limited work space, we cannot finish a 3' by 3' coverage test.

we run only 36 white and 24 blue for this test and thus only 180W max.
we run the MH 400W after it warmed up for around 10 mintues. Color temperature ????
we run only 18" from the light and 28" from light as these two are the distances where most of his corals sit around.

here is the chart in pdf

Please compare the TREND of the PAR values between LED and MH at the outer perimeter of the tank.
Note the LED have a higher PAR value at 28" height than 18"!!!!!
However, the reverse is true of MH as expected that the higher the light from the meter the lower the PAR value. There are many interesting charactistics of LED that we can deduce from simply a roughly mapped chart. Please study it with care and patience.
