Where Do i get 4'x8' sheets of cell cast acrylic

btw the places on canal don't have any, really poor attitude too.

anywhere else your going to have to pay trucking freight so the cost will probably be the same if you found it for cheaper on line.

Did you check out plastic land on church streeet? it's about 1/2 a block south of canal st. They ususally had the best prices (and the guys who worked there were cool as well)

I havent bought 1/4 in a while
3/8 is around 190 a sheet last time I bought it

~$100 was for the 1/4 " sheets, i think that's what i'll be getting this time around.

I guess you would want cell cast if you were builiding a tank as it is the most clear.

For my intended project (a sump), extruded would be adequate

not really, at least i don't think so...actually being that the sump will not be filled to capacity extruded might work.i've heard that extruded will absorb water with time and this might give you leaky seams....i would ask the pro first (that would be Frogman)

Do you have the number to acme plastics and do you know how much a sheet of 1/2 is? Are there smaller sized sheets for sale?

Actually I need to build a sump in about a month and it would be great if I could get your assitance but I know your still recovering from the hand injury.

if you're looking for material for a sump i think 1/2" is good enough...

I guess it would depend on the size of the sump, but after doing some research into the matter (Granted I have just started researching this out as the actual construction of my sump is at least a month to two months off), I was under the impression that 1/4 would be adequate.

Are there any guidelines that can be used to determine the necessary thickness of the acrylic?

Is it true that extruded acrylic will absorb water? That doesn't sound right to me.
