Just to have an idea to what people use. Which brand of biopellets do you use? If you have used more then one brand can you explain what made you change brand?
Thanks
Thanks
I use red sea version vodka dosing Havnt tried pellets seem to have lost popularity
Widdy, any particular reasons you switched all those brands?Started with Vertex went to NPX and now on EcoBak.
Well this issue has been debated. Some people say..gfo and biopellets is a no go..because biopellets will take care of both. Some other people are saying..that some phospate should be present so that bacteria don't starve to death...and some other people say to add a tiny amount of gfo to the carbon and run it together with biopellets...so obviously many opinions out there...I am just curious who makes the best biopellets...My mistake I should of ran GFO with it. Are you running GFO with pellets. They say you should run both together in they own reactor.
would you say that you have zero nitrate and phospate levels in your tank? Any visible algae?i use brs and they seems to work best for me .
I'm using the new NPX Large Biopellets. They are better than the original pellets IMO. More surface area I believe. I'm happy with them so far.
Thanks. Might order some today from Aquarium Specialty and take advantage of the 10% Labor Day discount.
