No more Brine shrimp, thats your first problem. Its very high in fats but lacks nutrition. Its like feeding your kids straight sugar.

Try mysis or rods food. a varied diet goes along way in the health of your fish.

I do Rods food on monday, flake on tuesday and pellets on wednesday, then i start the cycle over. If you feed the same food all the time your fish will get sick, especially if its brine shrimp.

Hey Rareclown i will follow your food method. I just need to get my hands on rods food thats all then im set to go.

Any food that has greens of some kind added in is fine as long as it's in their diet. One of the most ignored aspects of fish diets, even for carnivores, is greens. Post prey items consume algae in some form or another and when fish consume their prey they carry that algae in their gut. When digested that algae is passed to the predator, if you just feed animal protein you are ignoring an entire portion of their natural diet. If you start adding a good source of greens to your fish diet you will see noticeable changes in overall health and coloration. For instance I feed anthias PE Mysis soaked in Phytofeast and they keep their weight and get super colorful in a short period of time with just 2 feedings a day, because the food is complete and densely nutritious.
