I got this Indo-Regal a few weeks ago..it was a little thin and pale, but after it's stay in the QT it now devours clams on the half-shell and looks alot better. I placed it in the fuge, for a couple of reasons, firstly to try to get it to accept different foods without the competition on the DT and secondly to test it for eating LPS and softies..so far it hasn't touched anything..fingers crossed. It's now accepting Angelfish Formula, Mysis and brine soaked in garlic. Before placing it in the DT my PBT is going to need another timeout so hopefully when it's placed back in they will get along...so lets see them and what are you feeding them...

thanks Mike and beautiful fish guys..... they are hit or miss with eating corals...so I'm trying to keep it well fed so hopefully it will leave them alone. I was always afraid of putting an angel in my reef, but after a presentation by John Coppolino(Copps) at a LIRA meeting a few months ago I did some research I found that these guys are among the safest to try along with the Genicanthus species ...keep them coming.

They will usually devour any zoas and in addition might start nipping at clam mantles, at least that was my experience with Regals in a reef tank. Pretty safe with SPS though.
I actually had a Red Sea/Sumatra paired up with an Indo in my fowlr for a few years until I lost the Indo in a velvet outbreak.

I agree! mine ate every Zoas I had and they like toadstool did not touch any SPS or LPS I had in tank
