Blue spotted jawfish - wow. what a journey

just an update:
Hes eating like crazy and seems great all day and night until the morning...lol i know he was probably in the ocean like a week or two ago but he must not be adjusted or will he always do this?

every morning since i got this fish i watch him try to escape. he darts up to the surface for around a half hour and does a jump once and then wont do it for the rest of the day because he gets scared. I would not ever attempt this fish without a top lol

I have 2 bsjf in my 150. Every morning I hear a splash and a bang. It is him jumping and hitting the light fixture. Mine have used hermit crab shells (occupied or not) to fortify their dens. Even a 3" maxima clam was not to heavy to finish his den. I made a makeshift canopy to keep them from jumping out with eggcrate on the ends
