Platinum Clowns

My first experience of seeing platinum clowns in person was three gasping for air at Petco on 14th st. yesterday. Even worse is they have no chance of survival in my opinion priced at 199 each. Who would spend that kind of money to try to save them.

i personally dont even think they are that nice.. i love a nice misbared clown or picasso.. hell, the snowcassos in my avitar i think are awesome.. just enough white, black and orange.. the platnums dont even really look like clowns.. too plain in my honest opinion..

I would love to have the "Platinum" but right now the prices are insane on them.
& like you stated there are shops that don't even take the time to care for them correctly.

u should offer him 40 a piece. tell him "look lets be honest these fish arent going to make it till tomorrow, this ones having an asthma attack so deal?"

I personally think Petco should be banned from selling saltwater fish. They dont have experienced people with any knowledge on keeping a healthy system. Some people that shop there AND work there may look at it like theyre only fish but to me its cruelty to animals.

I only say it because ANY petco I walked into to get stuff for my boxer when she was alive(R.I.P Bailey) their fish were all unhealthy.

I agree with most about the look of platinums as I would myself prefer onyx or picasso's but that doesn't mean I wouldn't pass up a good deal on a pair. I would literally set up a nano just for a pair if I could get my hands on a healthy reasonably priced pair for any mentioned.

I always felt the same way, nice fish but not worth the $. I went to Mike's Place (Tropical Island) and there they were. There is something about them, I had to take them Home

My divorced pair of Platimum has just reunited since 2 weeks ago. I am very happy.

For the body shape I like the Onyx the most, For color and pattern, I hope my next couple generatios will yield something interesting. I am pairing them in almost all possible fashions like Onyx with B/W, B/W with Semi Snowflake, B/W with OCs....
