Starfish

Okay I woke up with my starfish looking like somebody was chewing on one of it's legs

The fish in my tank are:
Yellow tang 2"
Blue hippo tang 2"
Two fire fish, one this he's a shark.
Two clownfish 1.5"
Could one of these took a chunk out of the starfish????
Or could the korila have done that?????

how long has it been in there? how long did you acclimate it/how did you acclimate it? is it a fromia? what size tank do you have? do you have a tank where you could keep it for the meantime?

Not sure if this would work,
but chop the arm off of it gets worse.
should grow back.
maybe got caught in a powerhead?

if it gets worse, cut it below the mangled part.
it should grow back.

reasearch this first.
just guessing though.

1-It's been in there for two weeks.
2- yes.
3-50/50.
4-don't know.
5- 90g.

what type of acclimation did you do? how was the starfish transported to your tank? (mailed, picked up, etc...) was it exposed to air at all when you transferred it?

I guess something was eating it since all I found was a ring part of the body :-(
I will be hitting the books and see what went wrong :-(

Okay Soooooooooooooooooo now I really feel like I'm going koo koo I sit down to watch the tank cause my wife is getting on my last nerve!!!!

And I freaking find my starfish just chilling with all it's arms/legs looking good yay lol

shoot he looks like he was at the pit stop getting cleaned

He still has his five legs I just couldn't get it in the pic..... What's crazy is that there's no sign that he was even hurt...... And now I'm trying to figure out what was the thing I pulled out :-/
