LED for Freshwater Planted Tank

Hi,

Does anyone here have good experience using LED on their planted tank? I've done some research on the internet and it seems LED is unable to provide enough PAR to keep a heavily planted tank happy.

Any suggestions?

Or I just go get myself some T5 HO?

Good Afternoon: I have LED Light for my 5 Gallon Cherry Red Shrimp Tank with approx 5 different species of Plants. All are doing fantastic. The trick with LED Light is to have it close to the top of the tank and leave on for a minimum of 12 hours a day. My Plants are thriving.
