Help dinoflagellates destroying my tank

Well just gave my tank its third dose in as many days still no difference:headache:

Dosing Peroxide is going take a while to notice any difference.It's like doing Vodka.

I was under the impression that it kills the dinos though? I've been reading that it wipes it out in like 5 days.

I've used it briefly but not for that.how much are you dosing?Also read certain pods eat that stuff but not sure which ones

Im doing at 1ml/10gal

Do that for a week and bump it up to 5ml and see what happens.Dose Kalk to get your PH up.

Its day 5 and I'm doing double doses and honestly its not really going away the skimmer is pulling out a lot but I'm not really making any headway most of my corals have been smothered. I'm now gonna cut down the photo period. Looks like by the time everything is said and done my reef will be completely destroyed.:dead1:

it can take up to a month or so, there is no over night fix in this hobby

Well according to another forum it can take as little as 5 days. I mean there is alot less on the surface of the tank so we'll see what happens.

Hmm seems using RO water with a TDS of 15 may have caused this problem.......................

Well using R/O DI water with a TDS of zero hasnt helped, peroxide does NOTHING, Zeozyme for almost 3 weeks does NOTHING. Next step is to move everything photosynthetic and still alive out and blacking the tank out for a week or so. If that doesnt work then I'm starting over.

After reading all you did a UV will kill that out for you if you didnt know that.

Hmm a UV sterilizer never thought of that, suppose I would need to get it into suspension though with baisting correct?

MB7 will fuel the problem more . I had this problem and the only thing that fix it was a UV . You need to kill the bad bacteria that in the water that fuels dino. Its like cyno but worse.

Ive stated already that ive done peroxide with no success same with microbacter. My question is will the UV destroy the dinos or whats fueling them? And wtf is fueling them anyway?
