when looking at yours compared to the new pic posted, it looks like someone had removed the overflow housing and then tried to recalk it back in.. off center thats y there is so much more room on the 3/4 side than the 1in sinde.. also the calk job is terrible, obviously not from manufacturer.. i bet someone had this before and returned it.. and u got stuck with a used tank..

100g

I have spoke to them. At first they were trying to justify the hole, chip in the glass and the air bubbles in the caulk seems. After I listened to the crap they offered to give me the tank for half price. Since I was looking for a nice tank and not a deal he said they would ship a new tank to one of their stores. So I said I would drop off the old tank and pick up the new one. I don't mind doing a little traveling because I can see the tank at the dealer and they can see it to. That was two weeks ago. I'm hoping to get a call next week. So all in all its been over a month with no tank and a huge headache.

lol..what they should have done since they were gonna give you the busted one for half price they should have given you a discount on the new one for your time wasted.. and i kinda bothers me abt the quality of customer service bc they would let you fill and run a chiped tank..

WOW. I was about to order a 100g artisan tomorrow and have it delivered... Have you heard anything else from them? I'm kind of worried about ordering one after this

Well my New tank was supposed to be sent out last Tuesday. It wasn't. It was Supposed to be sent out today. I just talked to them and the tank is still at the shop. So its almost two months and still no tank. Headache getting bigger. If your going to buy one I can tell you to go to a store. Find a store that carries them. Have them order it. That way if it shows up at the store and it has any issues they have to deal with it not you. I know there is a place in Greenwich CT and a store in Brooklyn that carries them.

The closest one for me is in manchester CT at about 200 miles round trip. I have spoken to them but they require a payment in full in advanced so i don't want to pay for it all and then have something wrong with the tank and me being stuck with it since it's already been paid for. On top of that, I still have to rent a truck to pick it up... Ah, decisions, decisions...

Were are you coming from? Even if you pay for it and it comes in with a problem just tell them you don't want it. If you have it sent to your house and it has problems. Now your really stuck with it. Trust me I have one. Its up to you. I allot about nice tanks. But then I have a POS. Just be home when they drop it off. Make the delivery guy stay there while you inspect it.
