So I'm in the market for some
New lights because my last ones got completely messed up and all my corals died.. I'd like to give a very special shout out to marineland for their warranty that didn't cover anything! The leds will be for my 100 gallon and came across Aquavim LEDs at my lfs. Does anyone have any opinions on these

Sounds pricy. You can get "name brand" for that kind of money. Make sure the LEDs are appropriate for your needs. How many watts are you thinking? The Marineland ones seem way underpowered for most legitimate reef applications.

I actually found a little more info regarding the lights and have heard good things. Aquavim is heavy in the aquarium builds but have really started to change up their game in the light industry.
Check out www.aquavim.com.

I went out and bought 2 24" lights and they fit perfectly I've my tank :)

I hate to be the first one to break it to you but you will be hard pressed to grow any kind of coral with two 43 watt LEDs that you bought. Even if they were Cree which these are not you need at least 200watts like Wingo said for 100G. I would return them if you still can. 600 is insane for these.

Each light fixture is 432 watts and I have 2 which means 864 watts total for my tank.. Not 43watts total

It actually says;

43.2w equal to 432

I have no clue what that actually means.

Why did you not just go with a quality LED supplier? There are plenty out there. I think you just went from one fuge quality LED to another one that is not that great.

lol@"43.2w equal to 432w"

So is it 43.2 or 432? I would have to say, "I don't understand you!" 432 is a LOT OF wattage for a LED fixture. I personally have never seen.

Look at top LED fixtures:

[Took time to actually do a google search for this. Ha!]

Max Wattage of Radion Fixture: 130-140 Watts
Reeftech Promethueus: 180 wattCree LED light fixture
AI Sol: The AI Sol Blue (and White) uses 74-75W depending on the power meter used and temperature of the room.

These are the renowned LED fixtures besides the DIY or Wingos. No way is it pushing 432w? I have to turn down my AI Leds to 25% just so it doesn't burn my corals. I can't imagine what 432w of LEDs would do.
