When is the next frag swap?

I am new to this whole reef. I have about 7 different type of corals and 2 different types of anemone in my aquarium... When I heard about this, I found it to be a perfect chance for me to get new corals and learn more about them.. But it obviously passed.. How often is the "frag swap" go on every year? How do you attend? How does it go? Do you have to purchase a ticket to attend? How do you know the next one is coming? How old do you have to be to attend? Please let me know! I would love to become an expert one day!

When the swap is announced all of the instructions will be in the thread.

To expand a little bit, there is a fee. This covers the venue rental food and supplies. The next venue will most likely be at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. No preparations have been made yet as we are still finalizing the last swap but as soon as this is complete we will start to work on the fall swap.

you do not need to 'swap' frags...many members will have frags for sale before the swap, for swap pickup... and there will be plenty of vendors at the swap selling ANYTHING & EVERYTHING for your reef.
