Hey all,
I need to ship some softie frags and I was looking for some tips. Specifically, what type of bags should I be using? Can I just use double bagged Ziploc freezer bags with openings taped shut? Has anyone ever shipped with standard ziploc bags?

Also, does anyone think that ice packs are necessary for overnight shipping? My plan was to place all the bags in one of those $5 cylinder igloos. Seems like it wouldn't be necessary since it doesn't hit 80+ until noon.

Thanks,
Gil

They're just attached to really thin slivers of rock. Not much weight to them. If they were attached to heavier pieces, what would u recommend? Float them with styro?

now that's a good idea. thanks for the offer dude. i think i have the shipping container part under control. just going to put the igloo in a box filled with popcorn or bubble wrap to secure it.

i guess the pros wouldn't use ziploc bags.
