Nice anemone. Mine is always enclosed and shriveled up at night when the lights are off. I think this is natural.

I hand feed it once a week if I see that it hasn't caught any food during feedings. I do add a couple of larger krill in the feedings. My clown usually catches it and brings it into the anemone.

I have one in my tank...it is in full bloom in white light. How much light is it getting? I have mine attached right in the middle to the rock with medium flow. I have a picasso clown hosting it right now. At night in blue light it does shrivel up a bit.

I have silver sides but I think it might be to big for it so I'm going to cut it up but is there anything else they like that's smaller I'm looking to feed it every two three day

One of my clowns are staying in it only at night and durning the day it doesn't even notice it is that normal

I heard that if they are searching for light the tentacles will stretch and when it has what it wants they will bubble. I was also reading on feeding and some suggest mysis because larger food takes a lot of energy to process and often they spit it back up (at night). Mine hasn't moved yet from the back wall near the corner but anticipate it probably will. It also does close up at night.
