I am adding fish to my 72 g and 55 gallon tank
What are some fish that are fun to look at and has their own personality and character
like fish that doesnt just swim around like the chromis or damsels
But rather does his own stuff and entertaining to look at?
Thanks,

I would say neither is although some people place them in reefs. My hawks are in with corals, snails, few hermits, and shrimp and I have not noticed any issues: exception more than the rule I would say

I always had interest in a flame angel, and after i debated for a long time, i got one. What a big mistake...it started nipping on my sps and my nice acros wouldnt have their polyps out anymore...i was lucky i was upgrading my tank so when i switched i took him out. My corals now are back open and due to the long time without the polyps out, some pieces had the once green polyps turn white/bleached. After a few weeks and light they turned back green. I hear of people having this fish successfuly, but in case it does nip on corals, you are in for a big nightmare...if you dcide to take him out of a reef, you will have better luck breaking the whole aquascape...not worth it unless you do FOWLR. Sorry if i sound negative, but its my honest opinion.

Oh really? because my frienda hwakfish is reef safe but eats all the hermit crabs

yes, the hawks have only been in the tank for a few months really with the shrimp so i guess time will tell. the are approx. 1.5" each and that could have a factor in the menu choices as well. when they get bigger the dynamics may change. the tank is also lightly stocked and well fed at this point

+1 I had a flame Angel that ate a bunch of Acans. I had to rip a 75 gal reef apart to get him out! Not worth the risk Imo

Dragonets are cool too. I recently got a scooter dragonet (similar to a mandarin) and it's so fun to watch. Just make sure you have lots of pods for it. They can also be trained to eat flakes or pellets.
