I created a similar thread, about placement. Lets get this thing going.

I installed my wp25 last night in my 55 gallon reef. I have mostly LPS and some softies.

I have my overflow box on the left side of the tank, and a hob octopus skimmer bh-100 on the right side.

I placed my wp-25 on the left side of the tank. I had in on else mode, but my bubble is 8'' away from the right side and when opened or closed it was showing it's skeleton like it was getting too much flow from the right side of it (it was blowing too much to the left). I just put it on h1, s2. I'll leave it like this for now. I have two, 120w dimmable LEDs on my tank. The night sensor kicks in and leaves it on s3 over night, till the lights come on the next day.

I had 2 hydor 750's 1 on each side and 2 aqueon 250's on the back wall facing the front. I removed all the powerheads *will use them for mixing/etc.* and just running this one pump. Flow is amazing. Couldn't be better for this size tank. If I could figure out how to make a youtube video, I will this weekend to show everyone.

Love it though. Def worth the 49$ or whatever it was. Well worth the wait. End rant.

Do you think that it would be too much for a biocube 29? Also, where did you get yours from?

Hey I have one for about 3 weeks now .works great its the only powerhead I have in my 75 gallon tank.if you get it with the new control or the voltage power supply driver 12v-24v.you can adjust the power of the flow .so you choose the best flow for your tank .with that said I think it will be great for your 29gal on some of the low settings of the pump ..@tommyp great find of the sensor ,did you try it ?

Cmantis just had a group buy in June - I just got mine on Monday. It took a while, but worth it.

I personally think it would be too much, but if you placed it somewhere to break up the flow that it should be okay. You have to play with it.

I'm sure someone else would chime in that may have a smaller tank. I can only speak from my experience on my 55 you know..

It's perfect for 29 gallon, keep it on lowest setting 12v on the 12 to 24v converter( buy it separate)$10 worth it. Can be purchased on fish street .co . I have it on a 34 gallon works great. Forget group buys just get it yourself its $70 u get it in a week delivered.

I think my sensor is going too. Not the new ones I'm waiting on delivery but the one that came with it.

I came home from work today and the tank lights were on as normal, but it was on s2 and acted like the lights were off. So I removed the sensor then it went back to normal.

I put the sensor back in and used the flashlight app on my iphone and pointed it towards the controller and the normal mode kicked right on - maybe it's the way I placed my controller (left side of stand - same side as pump).

Its stuck on on there good now or else I'd take it off and stick in on the wall in the light next to the tank so it would work better.

I've noticed my pump wouldn't come back on sometimes after night mode is over, even though the light I green on sensor as if its daytime, not really a big deal for me as I check my tank every morning, all I do is press the mode button to cycle through The modes and it works again every time.
