I'm looking to setup a tank in my basement (in-wall) and I'm leaning toward a 90 gallon tank.

That said, I haven't shopped for a medium sized-tank and haven't been paying much attention to companies recently. I know that Marineland had a few leak issues but I need to research that more. They used to make quality tanks. I had a deep blue 90 for a year but it developed a leak and I had to take it down.

What are people using now? Marineland ? Aqueon? I would love an Oceanic tank but they stopped selling them in 2011. There's no budget for a custom manufacturer like Miracles or related. Looks like it's going to be a mass-produced tank.

I end up with a perfecto/marineland 180g. The seams and everything seems pretty good to me. Looks strong and feels sturdy....lol! Good luck searching for a tank. the 105g DSA rimless looks pretty good to me from bulkreefsupply.com. Price is pretty good for a rimless and you don't have to wait 3 months or so for a custom tank.

Samsky, are you starting up again? That's great. I still have the radion I bought from you a while back.

DSA is a nice company but their tanks are $$. I am going to look more at the Marineland/perfecto brands at this point I think.

Yeah, I made a fish room for my 180g, In wall but viewable from 3 sides :)

I would gone DSA if they have 6 foot rim or rimless. Oh well.....they are a bit more expensive but you are paying for quality and the rimless is sexy but maybe not in wall.

That's good news.

Yeah I was looking at a DSA 5 ft rimmed tank. It was nice. But they don't have the standard dimensions of normal tanks. (That can be good or bad). They wanted something like $1100 for the tank alone. That's too much money.
