Is called loyalty. They charge you 5 bucks cheaper they number 1 in your book, you laugh together, talk, whatever. .. then peice goes up 5 bucks and they the worst ever to you, your going elsewhere now, crying SMH

Lol, no, I just have a smartphone with unlimited data plan. Plus I need a sump and haven't found the right one yet and this digital swap meet takes no prisoners so I'm on here a lot lately.

I stopped by the central ave store this Saturday and it looked like an abandoned building and all the signs and awning was torn down so I didn't even bother going in after a 30 min drive to get over there.

They still there.. I was there today ..
They said shipping coming in tomorrow,Sunday and Australia Thursday
Glad they still there
And Nelson put all the Mt Vernon Prices on every tank that has fishes

Prices aren't as low as they used to be, but they are still lower than all of the other LFS I frequent! Also, FWIW, their vendor forum here on MR appears to have been deleted.

I have never been to this place however , all I have ever heard was people complaining about price swapping , and then people cheering on the great stuff and staff, either way you can't please everyone , usually lfs shops start with great prices to get you in the door and slowly bring them up to standard pricing ..........the way of the hobby.

Anyway discussing the positive vs negatives is how companies and private businesses improve and serve the reef community better. Everyones entitled to opinion and you can't cater to everyone. Each business needs to differentiate themselves and serve their customers the best way they can or they die. Obviously this model works for MaxReefs/Central Aquarium. Be happy we have choices where to shop and spend our money. Many reef communites have to drive hours to get to a shop. We are lucky in the tristate area.
