Protein skimmer for 28g nano

Hey all,


Been thinking about getting a skimmer for my nanocube. Its a 28g and there are a few different ones that I have came across. I figured before purchasing one that I would ask you guys your opinions on what skimmers to look at. Any idea of a good skimmer for this size tank? One preferably that can fit in the designed section of the tank since I is an AIO. Any info and links would be greatly appreciated. My plans for the tank are strictly clowns and anenomes.

Only problem is I don't know if that will fit in one of the back chambers of the tank and I don't actually want to put it inside the tank.. Hmm decisions.

From another forum so don't take my word:

Tunze 9002 with loose magnet and skinny cup only skimmer that will fit internally

If you want use of the media chamber check out the octopus BH1000 HOB. It's not drop in, but it wraps perfectly around the rear chamber.

I have an Aquapod and was able to hang an aquaC remora nano on the back. The pump is in one chamber while the skimmer outflow hangs over the adjacent chamber. Works well for me.

Also look at tunze 9002 & 9004. Also the smallest skimz skimmer which is on bulk reef supply.
