What Equipment Should we hope for in Future?

What pieces of Equipment that would help make this hobby better. I Vote for something in Apex that can measure Alkalinity and Calcium. Are you guys listening. What do you say.

A device that you can pump tap water through and marine water ready for the aquarium will come out. This way I can move water straight from the sink to my tank with no buckets.

I would pay for an all-in-one tester/monitor like seneye reef but more oriented for a reef keeper. CA/ALK/MG with a smartphone app to log and track.

We also need better motorized light hanging options. Press a button to extend or retract. Has to be realistically priced though since budget reefer which most are will just use current conduit method or other home depot methods.

i remember a couple of months ago a system/monitor that was supposed to be coming out by the end of the year that monitored everything. pricing was up there though. if i remeber correctly it was like $499-$599. gotta go to the archives and check

I would have aimed closer to 299? I know others may want to know their nitrate levels, etc but hopefully they have one that people DOSE for or have a reactor specifically for it. even cheap API kits are useful for the minor levels like no3/no4.

Mindstream Monitor. They havent updated their page in a while but they post graphs of what they are measuring. And the automatic filter sock is a reality, just do some searches theres a few different types. It's a big long sock on rollers that turn as it gets full, think cassette tape of filter sock.

is just a matter of time (10 years up) now they make only millions ($) or billions NOT sure, lol
we need few more Alibaba comp. then u gone c nice $ spectrum over your tank, frags they gone stay frags for more than 3-4 years, they never got old (Colonies)lol.

back to OP i wish easy way to balance PO4 and better PO4 test for organic and inorganic, i hope less then 10 years. lol.
