Micro Bubbles

The tank has been up and running for quite some time and I have never had an issue with micro bubbles. I now have micro bubbles coming out of the returns and each end. I checked the sump in the dark with a flash light no bubbles getting over the baffles. The suction inside the sump has a 45 degree elbow and no vortex is present to intrude bubbles. Put clear silicon around many of the fittings and still the same. Any ideas will be appreciated. It is and external pump.

probably your pump is creating the bubbles
what's the water level on the return chamber ?

Water level in the return chamber is good. No vortex of any sort being created. Level is maintained with an auto top off system.

Try shutting the pump off, and look to see if there are any leaks on the suction side of the pump, if there are any you will see water seeping when it's off.

yes because lowering the drain pipe will raise the water level in the sump

Pumps is clean.

I will try reducing the flow when I get home in the morning to see if that helps. I will also shut down the pump to look for leaks on the suction side of the pump. Thanks for the input appreciated.
