I am a networking idiot so please bear with me...

I swapped out my old apple airport for a new airport extreme. Same name, same password. It turns out that every piece of equipment needs to re-log in to the new router. (who knew I had so many things that remoted in to that thing..)

I'm on a Mac and I cannot figure out how to get my Apex Jr back online.
I can't see it on the network, I can't find it using the Apex Flash app while hardwired in to it.

Can someone walk me through the steps I need to take to get my controller back online?

I'll go post on the Apex forums, but I hoped someone here could give me some help.

Does the Apex Jr. have a display module? I forgot...

If it does, check System -> Net Setup -> DHCP and see if it is on. If not, change it to on, and reboot the Apex. After it comes back online, check to see if you can see your Apex either via web browser @ http://apex or the Apex Flash app.

Is the airport plugged into a cable modem? In the airport config, the WAN interface may display an IP address like 10.x.x.x. or 192.168.x.x. If that is the case, put the airport into "Bridge Mode". Another option is to plug the cable modem ethernet cable (the one coming out of the box going into your equipment into one of the three "L2-bridge" interfaces instead of the WAN port. You will see that there are two different icons above the ethernet ports. There should be 3-4 of one type and one of the other.

Either of these solutions will fix the problem.
