in your buddy list there should be a little symbol next to the names.

when you click on it the reefberry send box pops up.

you might have to open the buddy list, it's in the upper right corner of the screen

you could also hit the page icon under my gallery and that will open up the window to a message

I have found that if you check the allo response box when sending a mesage to someone it is easier for them to respond back to you.
