So, now that people have gotten over their "shakes" from not having RG on the homepage, and have either moved onto replacement therapy (the old school lookalike page) or something much more hardcore (Dedicated RG page), lets see what everyone thinks about the changes and how it affects them.

Please vote your mind in the poll or post here if there is an option we missed.:eek1:

Although it took some getting use to, having a dedicated page for graffiti is better. Its a pain having 2 pages open and switching back and forth.. On another note we can now post pics and links were as when the graffiti was on the homepage we were not able to do that and the person recieved a :screama: :lol2:... But as i have said, awesome job with the site and I appreciate everything you have done to make this a great reef site... there are many reef sites out there but this is my home  and wouldnt change it for anything....

Josh... I don't mind having it off the home page... though I do like the old skool view and find it annoying that I have to click home then the os view. Is there a way we can get a Home + RG link next to the home button on the top of the page so that we can get to it from a thread?

Yes, links direct to RG from the navbar are coming soon.

Although the entertainment factor of watching peoples vendettas is gone, its definitely a positive change. What would be cool on the front page is a show of how many people are currently in the RG. RG is after all a substantial part of the site. Its what gives the site a personal touch.

I love MR. And I love the the fact it has a chatroom based idea both on the home page and a dedicated one. But I have chosen not to make a decision yet as it does not work on my BB which is something else I like is the idea Of the reefberry.unless I'm doin something wrong?

RG used to work on my BB, I haven't been able to try it in months since I left my last job. It should work fine, but maybe a bit slow.

Well first off I agree that I am using the RG less than when it was on the homepage but I also feel that some things that were happening on the RG were not helping the site to move forward and possibly scaring potential members off. I think that the bottom line is that :

1. Josh you're the boss you do what you think is right for the site and you shouldn't hear any BS about it.

2. This is the best reef site on the net with people who care about reefing and each other.

3 The RG really should be a members only viewable thing as to keep some of the stuff that happens there "In the family" so to say.

4. If people don't like the changes that you do to the site you give people a forum to sound off and speak their peace and listen to peoples thoughts and concerns and make a final decision afterwards and if the decision isn't in someones favor they know that you listen to all of us and accept the change 9 times out of 10. This does not happen on most sites!

5. Josh thank you and the rest of the mods for making this site what it is, the best reef site on the net as I and others have stated before.

I personally liked it on the front page. However, it was becoming too obvious, and too easy for people to "vent" for all to see.

I like "old school", best of both worlds. But Josh, can you make the RG box bigger (wider) like it use to be on the home page?

I think it's a positive change. for those that aren't interested it's not as distracting, even for those that are interested but want to do some thread browsing first. i agree with mike, it does feel like it was put in a closet but this also gives the members on RG a little more privacy (you can do more things in a closet with guests in the house than you can in the main room, lol). I also think RG needs a little more exposure, maybe a shortcut on the main menu bar with the words " RG Chat" in it

I agree with Shaun, I liked RG on the homepage but I would never want to see it back there again. Way to much BS was being put up for everyone to see and it was not reflecting well on the site.
With the old school view no one has a reason to complain.
New members have been finding the chat and using it, and I really like the space that a whole page of RG gives.
