Now that is funny!

Mine was justifying buying an RO/DI unit for my reef by saying: "I got an RO bypass to save $$ on all the bottled water we are buying - it'll eventually pay for itself"

BTW, we still buy bottled water and haven't used the RO bypass in my RO/DI Unit since I set up my 180 (1.5 yrs now).

I would like to say that I use my RO/DI for drinking water all the time. Makes awesome coffee - you guys don't know what you're missing! Trying turning some of those lies into the TRUTH.

Or, do what Eric did and convince them to get their own tanks.

everything I get for the tank costs $100 or less.

I do use the RO/DI for drinking and ice making, I have a DI bypass and a little RO faucet hooked up to the sink. after seeing the filters I would never want to drink tap water again.
