Have a baby regal that is smaller than a clown fish and a medium/large both in different tanks but on same system. Both of mine are yellow bellies from the Red Sea. The real issue with regal's is getting them to eat. They aren't so quick to eat and normally don't eat and die unless added to an established reef system. They love pods and sponges and will adventually eat mysiss, brine and even flakes and pellets. My advise is buy a 40 gallon tank from petco $1 per gal sale buy a new all in one hang on filter with built in UV and QT your new fish. Once he is eating and looking healthy for 3-6 weeks then add to display. If this is too much or space is an issue make sure fish is eating at lfs and then purchase him but take home next day so ur not shipping him on a full stomach even a short trip home fish throw up food and possibly making it that much harder for him to eat in new tank. If fish isn't eating and u want him go back daily and try to feed if he don't eat don't buy. Also if u haven't added any new fish lately check all perameters something maybe off that your fish have grew accustom to. Make sure u take time acclimating fish check stores salt level u maybe surprised how low it is, can have lfs oversize the water and bag u take him home in and drip into a 35 gallon brute taking your time to adjust to reef salt level before adding, this forces u to add fresh salt water doing a water change in same process. Turn lights off if u have fish that will pick on him for 24 hours put a towel over tank to block sunlight this may help acclimate him to the new home. Lastly regals should be in a REEF with lots of live rock and hidding spots. They are one of my favorite fish.

I traded with a local wholesaler. I sell/trade them coral I grow and also do their electric work. I am a licensed electrical contractor. And I get to order anything they can get at wholesale pricing and I became friendly with the guy who runs the place so as soon as anything super cool comes in he is sending me pics and pricing.

b-ridge
I bought them separate (not sold as a pair) but at the same time
in qt i put one in a isolation box and let them out for a few min at a time together . then gradually give them more time together
i also put a mirror on the back of the tank
I also red that all juveniles have yellow bellies

So i got yesterday another one but this time from a nother store in NJ Azure Aquatics!!! Nice store big selection of healthy fish, I got a Red Sea regal for $85, defiantly a healthy looking fish active and better then the 1st one, but this time have put him in my refugium with sand rock and algae, so no one will bother him, question is for how long to keep him there, so far the clams on a shell that I have put in he did not touch, but I have seen him nip on rock and other things in the sump.

Acclimation was for one hour, as off tonight 24 hours passed, and I think he had something to eat, I have made a mix off clams and krill and nori that was soaked in seconl and AngeLlixir food soak, and I put it all in a pouch feeder net.
