At risk of seeing a post on here from Deanos..with the attached link... that says "We've already cover this topic HERE", I thought I'd toss the question out there to post some of the ways that you've used your empty salt buckets?

What's in your salt bucket?

i have a few buckets one for mixing saltwater,one for draining water out of the tank/cure rock an one for reef junk.

believe it or not, I often use them as a ladder (more like a step stool)

i use 2 for 2 part, i like making a bunch at a time.

water changes, something to sit on, a place to hold all the
wet fish towels, bunch of power heads, rocks, other buckets

I use the screw-on top ones to hold bulk carbon, Kalk, Mag flake, Dow flake, and extra PVC fittings. I think I had 15 buckets of different stuff in the base at one time. They are also great to keep your sidewalk salt in, no moisture can get in to clump the stuff together.

I loan my wife a bucket to brine her turkey in this year:lol2:

They are great as a home cleaning bucket, and as a container under the sink for holding recyclables.

Use my buckets to hold tools when I am working around the house or going to do work elsewhere. The Tropic Marin bucket is short and fat good for circular saws and other large tools, and the IO buckets are tall good for the level and all the other.

Ive use dmy buckets to hold fish (with a heater and pump) inverts ,chair ,ladder ,junk bucker for reef thingys. make RO water in ,change water

summer time ,ill fill up the buckets and wait on the roof for fellow reefers to come by and get corals ,as they walk thru the DOOR ,,BAM ,,5 gals of water all ova them :lol2: Jking i only use 2 gals of water :lol2:

But I also use my buckets for topping off, holding equipment (pumps, powerheads) during cleaning, spare PVC and oh yeah to hold other buckets :wink1: .

I used a bucket as a TV stand once. I also used two buckets to prop my hood up when I first installed MH bulbs and didnt have fans or a chiller. You could see my living room from 10 blocks away. It had an eerie glow from the actinic VHOs. lol
