I am building a tank for my friend and hope you guys give the cons and pos or even new suggestions

She has a about 3' x 3' of a corner space between two couches.

What would be a good choice?

I like corner tank but also worries about the sump/refuge limitation of the stand. The distorted views deters me further. Any ideas?

Thanks

although I like the look of bowfront tanks from far away, I get sea-sick when I look at them upclose. Try a corner Hex tank. All the sides are flat.

House of laughter had a 92 bow. It was a great looking tank. But as you said there's a limit to the space in the stand, and also the hood.

Pro's,
A good amount of water in a small area, great shape for Aquascaping, does'nt take up a major amount of usable space in the room, much better looking than the typical rectangle.

Con's,
Limited space for fish like Tangs even though you have the gallonage, Sometimes hard to build a decent sized sump, Hard to build your own stand and canopy (if you wanted to, over premade), depending on lighting, it could be difficult to arrange.

I second the cube thought, because you can sit on eather couch and have a nice view of the tank.
