Get pair of "oil filter pliers" It looks like a miss shapped channel lock. Works great for tighting bulk heads, and changing filters on your RO. About $8 at any auto part store. Get two sets so you don't use the fish room one on the car

Ball check valves prevent sump overflows and don't get stuck.

I agree with Rob Top - I saw a local club member use them to tighten and it worked out really well. He also built a Calfo overflow which was very quiet and functional.

Impromptu bulkhead fitting. Size to your application by buying the appropriately sized fittings...

1xMale PVC adapter NPT/Slip
1xFemale PVC adapter NPT/Slip or NPT/NPT
2-3x Neoprene gaskets, appropriately sized.

Male half goes on the INSIDE Gaskets on the inside, female adapter on the outside.

I'll think of more :)

I took a baby's suction bulb (I think they use them to suck snot out of noses and are at all the drug stores) and cut down the end of it so I could fit in a piece of rigid airline tubing. This is great for spot feeding or blasting where a turkey baster is too big. You can also make it as long as you want. Its become my most used tool.
