WHAT ONE THING MAKES YOUR REEF AQUARIUM SUCCESSFUL?

You guys are the reason I am successful.
I don't mean just the people here, but every reefer before me. I spent nearly 6 moths reading befor I started my 1st salt tank now nearly 3 years ago. If it wasn't for those willing to answer questions, write about thier success or failure, I don't know where I would be.

actually to clarify not trying to cut corners on things I know I need. for example lighting when i finaaly dedcided to spend the money my tank benefited as opposed to suffer. example 2 skimmer same results. dont buy adequet equipment for your needs buy GOOD equipment.

Being interested and devoted enough to really get to know the tank and the animals in it. I can spot when something is even slightly amiss and make necessary adjustments.

This hobby isn't for anybody who just wants to glance at the tank, throw some food in, and maybe clean the glass once a week. You have to know that baby inside out.

Oh yeah, passion, love, the boards, $$$$, and ME!

Knowledge is the key. Patience follows close behind. A bottomless bank account helps but is not necessary.

My one thing that I would say is my DSB... that and 270 lbs of LR. Also my skimmer, and don't forget the metal halides, or the kalkwasser.

I guess that the mix of all that, and the information.

Patience and B-Ionic. My tank always did fine, but I feel it does exceptionally well with the B-ionic. (If your tank is not too big, otherwise it is way too much $$$)
