Oh, thanks for reminding me Newkie Shot with Fujifilm S1 Pro DSLR with Nikon 60mm Micro (macro) lens and B+W UV filter. No flash used (ambient light only). Tripod mounted with remote shutter release.
I've got other more "normal" photos to share if anyone is interested, but not in this thread since I don't want to abuse our dial up friends.
I'm big on photography nowadays, so I can justify a DSLR. But if you're just a casual photographer or primarily interested in aquarium photography, there are plenty of really good prosumer cameras instead of shelling out thousands for a SLR camera (plus lens and accessories). I've always been fond of the Canon G2 (now G3). Nikon cameras take excellent macros as well.
