I was looking to buy a Hanna Phosphate Colorimeter and noticed that the precision is +- .04 where the new hach colorimeter is only +- .015. With wanting the tanks around .03 the hanna could really be inaccurate. Is the Hach worth the extra $135?
Does anyone have the Hach Phosphate Pocket Colorimeter II and how do you like it?

Also the Hach already comes with 100 reagents.
Thanks

My supplier told me the same and that's the reason I was debating myself in carrying the hanna testor for phosphate. Finally, I decided against it . To me, it's meaningless to have error margin larger than the accuracy the customers want. I cannot sell a product which I don't belief in.

If you do get the Hach, let us how you like it. I am still looking for a meter that make sense.

There was more discussion on this point in another thread. The accuracy of all the colorimeters out there is +/- .04.

" To me, it's meaningless to have error margin larger than the accuracy I want."

so what do you use?

The fact of the matter is that there are very few people out there with accesss to anything that is better than the colorimeters. T
