"If your assembly is air tight no KW will come out of the inverted bottle until the water line in your sump is lowered due to evaporation.
Air has to go in the bottle inorder for KW to come out.
Since all evaporation shows in your sump
The amount of KW dosed is directly proportional to the amount of evaporation in your system." -brokekyle

AHHHH Broke, now I see. Thanx for clearing that up. I will give it a try and if I can't get it air tight I'll go with the airline tubing. Thanx again everyone and I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I get to HD to get the PVC.

In 2 1/2 years, I've cleaned my tubing out maybe twice. It gets crusted up in the bottom half, I just squish it a little and start a drip. Somebody mentioned an IV drip bag, not what I'm doing. I can drip about 2 1/2g of kalk a night, limited by size of Sterilite container. In reality I don't drip it very slow. This is small tubing and I set it at a very fast drip or almost steady stream. It takes about 2 hours for all of the kalk to run out of the sterilite container. This way I don't get the clogs, and has worked well for a long time now. I drip right into my sump where the two 1" returns come from the main tank. by the way, this is a 180g tank, not something small like a 29g, etc.
