I have a Current Sundial pendant. It is a 150 watt DE with PC actinics. The stock 10k bulb is tinged with yellow. Would this 50K bulb be too blue with actinics running?

I am just looking for nice 12k look I would say, a nice white with just a hint of blue. I have a crocea in about 18" of water and some monti's and acro's.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi and :welcome:

The visual appearance of reef lighting is really a preference thing so all I can do is give an opinion, but IMO the Iwasaki 50K with some actinic is a very nice look - not overly blue/dim like some of the 20K lamps.

Thanks for the welome and the opinion. I suppose I will give the 50k a try then. I will let you guys know what I think and maybe put up a pic too.
