It's interesting how the commercial alga scrubber business seems to cause lawsuits. For instance, Adey's algal turfscrubber was originally marketed by Inland Aquatics, and then Adey (encouraged by his son the lawyer) sued IA because they felt they weren't getting enough out of the deal. Then after that there was a new Adey approved company selling his algal turf scrubber. I just tried to find that website - couldn't find it - out of business already?
As vitz said, it's bb's like this that can protect the hobbyists. I like to think I wouldn't be taken in by hype. If I had checked around, I wouldn't have bought some live rock from the all too aptly named Aqua Con.
