i got alot of jumpers

my tank has a canpoy on it but they itill jump out is there anything i can buy or make to stop the jumpers i losted about 10 fish so far :bagfish:

Put eggcrate over the top of the tank.

instead of preventing them from running from whatever it is they are running from, shouldn't you try and figure out why they are running in the first place? another aggressive fish? stray voltage? etc.

Listen to house of laughter. First find the reason why they are jumping. Something is making them jump. Total darkness to full blast light (Not good) A broken/exposed electrical wire or a predator/nipper.

I would say find the cause and eliminate it but after doing so I would also add some egg crate to the top just to be safe.

Guys..............

Keep in mind that egg crate is a light diffuser & will....well.........."diffuse" your lighting, if placed on the top of your tank (for reefs only).
For a reef, an enclosed canopy or mesh is a better choice.




Something in your tank is making them uncomfortable, causing them to leap.

freckle hawk, about three true clown, two skunk clowns


still have 1false 1true clown, 1 yellow tang, 1 juvi blue tang, 6 blue/ green chromis, few shrimp, 2 reef safe angles :shhh: i think thats it every body is cool peaceful mabe it the lights i have no moon lights anyone has any for cheep :idea:
