You will want to get metal halides then. 250W double-ends, which have the same output as 400W moguls, but aren't as hot and use less electricity. If you wanted more, than 1000W moguls are you next option. Depends on the size and depth of your tank. You can pretty much keep anything under these.

250w double ends have the same output of 400w bulbs? then why does anyone use 400w bulbs if they can get the same thing for cheaper?

Also you need to have a UV shield when using these HQI lamps, correct?

Double-end fixtures, bulbs, and ballasts are more expensive than moguls. Also, it's a bit more complicated to DIY compared to single-ends.

It's imperative to have the UV shield.

If you are asking questions like this and asking if they are good beginner fish dont get them. They are super hard to keep alive and they eat corals. So if you wanna save money on expensive hard to keep alive fish I would suggests not getting this fish

When I had a FO tank, I inherited a Moorish Idol from a friend that had to move. He was a strong specimen and already accustomed to tank-life, so he lasted another 4 years. Until, my Purple Tang decided he didn't like him anymore. He never recoverd from the 2" gash on his side. It was a sad day.

They are a very delicate species. Reefnutz was lucky he got a idol that had all the hard work already done. They eat coral too so make up your mind if you want a FO or a reef you cant really have one or the other. However there are some exceptions to that rule too

I was already into reefkeeping for about 3 years, but in FO for a bit longer. Like supaboy mentioned, I was lucky to get 'Mel' when he was already well acclimated. He was also imported by special order from the Red Sea. Don't ask me why, but I was instructed to feed him Hikari cichlid pellets. I also kept orange tree sponges for him to nip at.

The odds are totally against you in obtaining one like 'Mel'. You really should think of getting a different fish.

14yr old without a job

Find a job at your local mom and pop petstore. I am sure there are some around you. I had a job at a pet store when I was your age.
